Gain speed. That’s the GS in Honma’s T//World GS wood line. Its clubs designed for golfers with moderate swing speeds. In other words—most of us. A little more clubhead and ball speed translate directly into distance. And that’s exactly what most of us are looking for.
The GS line was designed for golfers who want not just speed and forgiveness, but a true player’s look. GS metal woods are beautiful, sleek instruments that optimize both speed and stability.
Here’s a glance at what you’ll love about the GS:
Straighter ball flights and more distance. The TW GS Driver has a raised keel sole toward the heel. This promotes a draw bias. An adjustable weight in the heel helps further customize ball flight, while the low/deep CG and high MOI work to maximize forgiveness. Made of titanium, it’s thick and thin where it matters, creating straight-and-long tee shorts to optimize speed and stability.
Reduced spin for more speed and forgiveness. The new Flip Slot directly behind the face increases face flexure. The radial face dynamically flexes all parts of the face to harness more speed—no matter where the ball makes contact. The driver also includes a non-rotating hosel adjustment system that keeps the shaft perfectly aligned, plus delivers distance and directional consistency. It’s offered in lofts of 9.5, 10.5, and 11.5 degrees.
Matching fairway woods and hybrids for consistent performance. Modeled on the same “gain speed” construction principles as the driver, the woods and hybrids boast similar aesthetics and design characteristics. That means golfers enjoy familiar feel and distance gapping that a matched set provides. The woods sport a traditional shape and size, plus the Flip Slot. Internal weight is positioned toward the heel to help enhance draw bias. Meanwhile, the hybrids also feature the Flip Shot and internal weighing low and toward the heel, which helps get shots airborne.
All the GS clubs feature heel-bias crown graphics, which visually encourage golfers to square the clubface through impact, and the woods and hybrids sport Honma’s Japanese-designed SpeedTuned shafts. Competitively priced, they’re the ideal entry into the Honma brand—a huge jump in quality.
